The signal, not the noise: how we brief markets and technology each week

A look at what goes into the Signal Wire weekly note, and what we deliberately leave out.

Most market email is either too thin to matter or too long to finish. We aim for a third option: a short weekly note that explains what moved, why it might matter, and what remains unresolved.

Each briefing starts with primary sources when they exist: filings, earnings language, central-bank statements, and company disclosures. Secondary commentary is useful for color. It is not a substitute for the underlying facts.

We also keep a hard line on advice. Education can describe risks, structures, and trade-offs. It should not pretend to know your balance sheet, your time horizon, or your tax situation.

If you want the archive in article form, start with our AI investing landscape guide and the recent notes on valuations, enterprise adoption, and compute supply.

The promise is modest on purpose: fewer emails, clearer language, and no manufactured urgency.
